Bouddi National Park

Today we did an exploratory walk around Bouddi National Park. I have done Bouddi Coastal Walk to Maitland Bay about a year ago. Today, we planned to walk to Lobster Beach, Tallow Beach, Box Head, and do part of coastal walk if we have time. The track to Lobster Beach started with many steps up to the top of the hill before we descended down to the beach. It was a small and private beach. We then continued onto Flannel Flower Walking Track and Box Head Track. We followed the track along the ridge top until the track opened up with a panoramic view over Tallow Beach, Box Head and Lion Island. We finally reached Box Head with a view of the Tasman sea and Hawkesbury River. The track actually continued steeply downwards to the bottom of the cliff, which was not on our map. Woy Woy to Little Wobby Walk

About one year ago, we attempted to walk from Little Wobby to Woy Woy, but failed. We got lost along the way, ended up going off track and had to turn back to Little Wobby. Today, we were determined to complete this walk from the opposite side, Woy Woy to Little Wobby. We took a taxi from Woy Woy train station to the start of the track to save the boring 3km road walk. The walk was all on the fire trail at the beginning before we turned off at the right hand side and descend steeply down a rocky track. The track led us to a campsite. We turned into the campsite and a short walk away was the top of a very small waterfall. After walking down to the bottom of the waterfall, taking a brief break there, we turned around and traced our way back to the fire trail. We continued down this fire trail, passing this beautiful spot on the left hand side of the track. It was hidden behind the trees but luckily someone spotted it.
